Day 17: transcendence

I guess you can call 2020’s red skies in San Francisco1 a moment of transcendence.

πŸͺ₯ Teeth cleaning day today. Not a fan of going to the dentist. There’s just something about dentists with their sharp tools just poking and prodding inside your mouth as you lay on the chair helpless.

Thankfully I love the dental practice I go to. No cavities today. I think that’s a win.

Day 16: flΓ’neur

This is me - just being a modern flΓ’neur, attempting to snap photos of life’s little moments.

Just got an invite to Airchat after hearing about it recently.

Not sure what to make of it yet. Very reminiscent of Clubhouse, with a mix of Twitter in there somewhere. Essentially just people talking about random topics out loud, that you can also read along to. We’ll see how this pans out.

πŸ“š Book 11 of 2024 - Finished: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (⭐️3.5/5)

Note(s):

  • Not as good as the Fourth Wing series, hoping the other books in the series will get better
  • Fast paced and easy read
  • Simple fantasy story line

πŸ‘©β€πŸ’» I found out this morning that the opportunity I was exploring did not pan out, as expected. A little bummed but the reasoning made sense.

Reminder to self that these things happen for reasons that I probably just can’t see at this point in time. Onwards and upwards for now, I guess.

Day 15: small

Feeling quite small in this big, big world.

πŸ§‘β€πŸŒΎ Went to the farmer’s market today and picked up some local honey from one of the vendors. There’s a list of Coming Soon food options that I’m looking forward to seeing in future events. For now, it’s mostly just fruit and veggie stands.
