musings
🧑🌾 Went to the farmer’s market today and picked up some local honey from one of the vendors. There’s a list of Coming Soon food options that I’m looking forward to seeing in future events. For now, it’s mostly just fruit and veggie stands.
My back has progressively gotten worse this past week. It’s been super painful to sit and stand so I finally gave in and scheduled a physical therapy appointment.
I experienced cupping therapy for the first time today. Not a huge fan of the marks it leaves and it’s still TBD to see if it works.
👩💻 There is an opportunity that I am exploring tomorrow but ugh, my imposter syndrome is strong on this one.
I will never get tired of these green, rolling hills… especially since they never last long. Come near summer, they all will have turned brown.
👩💻 Decided last minute to take a half day from work to recharge, and for the sake of my mental health.
Now it’s a matter of forcing myself to do nothing today, instead of attempting to be productive in other ways. Wish me luck!
🏠 Day 4 of getting our floors done: complete
Planks are all installed! Just have to put on the baseboards which will happen Saturday.
Never had Smucker’s Goober growing up. Needed something to eat that didn’t need cooking or refrigeration so PB&J for lunch it was!
🏠 Day 3 of getting our floors done: complete
Installers moved around furniture and prepped the floors. Halfway finished the living room. Had issues removing the engineered hardwood in the kitchen. Hoping to finish the first floor tomorrow.
Running on 3 hours of sleep after a day full of meetings.
🏠 Day 2 of getting our floors done: complete
The installers were here for 12.5+ hours. The floor planks upstairs have all been put in minus base boards. We now have to move all our stuff upstairs so they can work on the first floor tomorrow.
It’s 9:30pm. It’s about to be a long night.
🏠 Day 1 of getting our floors done: complete
Spent the day resetting the breaker for the installers because their sander kept shortening the wiring. The upstairs carpet has been removed, floor sanded and leveled. Already can’t wait for this whole process to end.
