    📚 Book 18 of 2024 - Finished A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas (⭐3/5)

    Book 3.5 of the ACOTAR series. Not much really happened in this book and I probably could’ve skipped over it, and it would’ve been fine.

    Highlighted quote:

    “I have to create, or it was all for nothing. I have to create, or I will crumple up with despair and never leave my bed. I have to create because I have no other way of voicing this.” Her hand rested on her heart, and my eyes burned.

    📚 Book 17 of 2024 - Finished: A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas (⭐4/5)

    Finished last night. Book 3 of the ACOTAR series and I think this is my favorite book of the series so far.

    Highlighted quote:

    I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have … The wait was worth it.

    📚 Book 16 of 2024 - Finished: The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel (⭐5/5)

    Thoughts: This was a really hard book to put down. If you’re into historical fiction around WWII about family, sacrifice, betrayal and lost love, then this could be a great read for you.

    Highlighted quote:

    Once you’ve fallen in love with books, their presence can make you feel at home anywhere, even in places where you shouldn’t belong.

    📚 Book 15 of 2024 – Finished: Meet Me on the Bridge by Sarah J Harris (⭐4/5)

    Thoughts: This was very Time Traveler’s Wife-esque. I actually really enjoyed it.

    Highlighted quote:

    “When you meet that person, everything falls into place. They feel like home. It’s like returning to your favourite painting and loving each brush stroke all over again.”

    📚 Book 14 of 2024 – Finished: A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas (⭐4/5)

    Highlighted quote:

    “There are good days and hard days for me—even now. Don’t let the hard days win.”

    📚 Book 13 of 2024 – Finished: The Woman in Me by Britney Spears (⭐3/5)

    Note(s):

    • It was nice to hear the story of Britney from Britney herself
    • Not very well written, but not bad to listen to in the background
    • Didn’t know she released a remix with Elton John in 2022 on my birthday

    📚 Book 12 of 2024 - Finished: What Lies in the Woods by Kate Alice Marshall (⭐4/5)

    My book club pick for April, finished at 2AM this morning.

    Highlighted quote:

    “That’s the thing about trust, isn’t it?” Ethan said. “You gather all the evidence you can, use your brain, weigh character and past actions. But the final inch of it—that’s faith. Trust means believing in someone. It’s not just a conclusion. It’s a choice.”

    📚 Book 11 of 2024 - Finished: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas (⭐️3.5/5)

    Note(s):

    • Not as good as the Fourth Wing series, hoping the other books in the series will get better
    • Fast paced and easy read
    • Simple fantasy story line
